Introducing our newest bloggers!

We’d like to formally introduce you to the newest members of the Taking Back the Classroom team!

Tammy Cravit is a California-based paralegal and Special Education Facilitator. The parent of a child with special educational needs, she uses advocacy, facilitation, coaching, mentoring teaching to empower parents to become competent, informed and aware members of the educational team. Katie Phillips is a California-based writer and a recent graduate of NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. She is a passionate advocate for education reform with a particular interest in the fine arts and performing arts. With a background in theater, she holds the perspective that conflict resolution begins with effective, clear communication and believes that solid written and verbal communication skills are essential pieces to a well-rounded education.
